THE HONOR BOX.
A Program To Inspire Honor in Our Children, by our President, Barack Obama

PURPOSE:

To provide all of the schools with boxes provided by the U.S. Government filled with literature and a letter from our new President, Barack Obama, with a letter of inspiration telling the American children why Honor and Craftsmanship of their lives is important. GENERAL IDEAS: The Honor Box should focus on major concepts:

HONOR, ABOVE ALL.
TRUTH, HONOR. JUSTICE. CHARITY. LOVE.

The President should include his favorite piece of literature (a short story) detailing Honor, and he, himself should write a short fairy tale for the children about Honor. He should also include a letter to inspire the children, to tell them about the love in themselves...to show them how important they are, and to tell them that they, themselves can make a difference in the world in their lives. What they need to understand is something I call the Superman Ethic: Be the Best Within You, Represent the Best Within Us. The children are to take them home, read them, and then write President Barack Obama a letter, just to tell him about their lives, and to tell him what they think. The letters should go to someone specific, who will compile them into books yearly, at the end of which they will be given to the President himself. They will be gifted by President Barak Obama to each major library in each state for people to read, with a personal letter by the President, signed by the President. If possible, it would be lovely for the Honor Boxes themselves to be beautifully crafted and sturdy, so that they can be used every year by the schools. The Government would provide, every year, a designed medal to remind children of their call to Honor by the President, which they will keep, along with his letter, which should be new every year. It will be a yearly reminder to the children that they are loved and cared about by someone truly special, our President. And the continued reminder will foster beautiful ethics in our children. I would love for my books, Love Loves. Love Fights. Love Wins and Honor, Above All, and my small postcard, An Angel’s Perspective, to be included. But, I will understand if it’s not possible. If the Administration believes other things should be included, it would be lovely. One thought is to include two prints of artwork done every year: one by a professional to demonstrate honor, and another by the children, chosen in contest by the American Government. Also, it might be considered to include quotes by famous Presidents detailing Honor...President Abraham Lincoln and others, I would be so proud. Maybe a book should be made, with one quote by every President to inspire children...possibly with the first page being President Abraham Lincoln’s beautiful speech, “Four Score & Seven Years Ago” to remind others that our love, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” Our children are our future, and so much love, honor and craftsmanship will be found in them, were President Barack Obama to inspire them to it. I’m asking that President Barack Obama’s administration enter into a conversation with our children, to forge a lasting relationship of beauty that will change our children’s lives, and possibly, the face of future generations.
